Women doctors have demanded implementation of the Medical Protection Act in Jharkhand.
Indian Medical Association Jharkhand women doctors wing president Bharti Kashyap reportedly said, “We are demanding implementation of Medical Protection Act in Jharkhand.”
The Act aims to protect doctors, nurses and hospitals from violent attacks.
The IMA has expressed its concern over the increase in cases of violence against doctors and medical establishments.
