Deepika Kumari will lead the 14-member archery team of Jharkhand in the 35th National Games to be held in Kerala from February 1 to 9.
The team, which was announced today, consists of four archers each in men’s and women’s recurve event, women compound and Indian round, while one archer will be for individual event in the men’s compound and Indian round.
The teams are as follows: Recurve men’s: Mangal Singh Champia, Jayant Talukdar, Binod Swansi, Bulbul Marandi. Recurve women’s: Deepika Kumari, Reena Kumari, Laxmi Rani Manjhi, Rimil Biruli.Compound women’s: Jhanu Hansda, Manjudha Soy, Madhumita Kumari, Namita Singh.
Indian round women’s team: Gurubari Sardar, Arti Boipai, Indrani Kujur, Jai Laxmi Laguri.
Men’s Compound: Deepak Karmakar. Men’s Indian round: Rajesh Manjhi.
