The Cabinet led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das today took a number of decisions including increasing the monthly honorary payment to persons with disability.
The Cabinet decided to increase the monthly honorary amount paid to the person with disability under Swami Vivekanand Nishakt Swalamban Protsahan Yojna was increased from Rs 400 to Rs 600.
Other decisions were as follows:
1.The petrolium mining lease document was provided to ONGC-IOCL Consortium for 258.75 KM in Hazaribagh and 12.75 KM in Chatra to take out coalbed Methane after drilling there.
2.The Ranchi based Central government PSU-MECON Ltd was accorded with the job to secure services for construction of Ranchi city’s five central roads and Inner Ring Road.After MECON starts its job,the work related with the development of five main roads is planned to be completed in 36 months and the work concerning building Inner Ring Road in 50 months.For this,MECON is supposed to prepare DPR,complete the tender process,get the work executed and provide project management services.
These five roads of Ranchi were located along:1.Airport and Birsa Chowk;2.Rajbhawan(via Circular road) and Kantatoli Chowk 3. Rajbhawan and Birsa Chowk.4Rajbhawan and Booty More(via Bariatu road);4.Rajbhawan and Hinu Chowk(via Main road) where a flyover has to be constructed.
3.Agitationists of the Jai Prakash Narain movement of 1974-77 were to get honour and facilities.
4.The Dearness Allowance of the state government’s contract employees was raised from 72 percent to 113 percent.
