Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba and DGP DK Pandey today addressed a meeting of senior police officials on two main issues-law and order and Left Wing Extremism.
The objective of this meeting was to contain crime in Jharkhand.
Their meeting attended among others by SPs,DIGs,IGs and other senior officers including CRPF IG (Operation) at the police headquarter,Ranchi,began by paying tributes to IPS officer and SP Amarjit Balihar who was killed in a Maoists’ attack in Dumka on July 2,2013.
The meeting recorded expectations of SPs from the state heasdquater and the police headquarter’s expectations from them.The meeting was presided by DGP Pandey.
