Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba today said that utilisation of full production capability of the plants of the Patratu Thermal Power Station(PTPS) is the objective of the state government.
Gauba said this while presiding over a meeting of the high power committee of the state government on PTPS.The meeting was held inside his office at Project Bhawan in Ranchi today.
He directed National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC) to submit a report in league with the state government on different plants of the PTPS whose focus should be on power sharing and tariff.He also directed the NTPC to prepare a report on different financial models of a joint venture to run the PTPS.
Highlighting the works of the NTPC,its Chairman Arup Rai said that his company was the biggest power generating body.He said,this project will increase production of power and its function will improve quality of power.
The meeting was attended among others by Development Commissioner RS Poddar,Principal Secretary(Finance) Raj Bala Verma,Secretary(Energy) SKG Rahate and NTPC officials.
