Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba directed the Principal Secretaries/ Secretaries that the decisions that are passed will be acted prompted upon so that the public derive swift benefits from them. He was reviewing the annual plan for the Energy, Home, Art, Culture and Youth Affairs and the Welfare Departments for the financial year 2015-2016.
The Secretary of the Energy Department has informed that the plans for 24 districts under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Yojana amounting to Rs 5800 crore has been sent to the Government of India for approval. Action is being taken to implement the Atal Jyoti Gram Yojana and Tilkamanjhi agricultural camp.
Chief Secretary of the Home Department reviewed and directed to speed up the process of the establishment of the primitive tribe battalion and the appointment of ten thousand soldiers. The written test for the appointment of the soldiers will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission and the physical ability test will be conducted by the Home Department.
