Yet another Maoist has given up arms and joined the mainstream showing Left Wing Extremism is vanishing in Jharkhand.
This became evident on Friday when Jharkhand’s Regional Sub-Zonal Commander CPI (Maoists) Santosh Kumar Singh alias Santosh Bhokta alias Chamru Bhokta surrendered before Jharkhand DGP D K Panday inside the premise of the state police headquarter in Ranchi.
Bhokta had surrendered in front of senior police officials under the state police forces’ scheme ‘Nai Disha’.
