Tilbitha Railway station in Jharkhand’s Pakur district has witnessed the arrest of Ibrahim Sheikh alias Lal Mohammand.
The police claimed that Mohammed is a member of the banned Bangladesh-based terror outfit Jamat-ul-Mujahideen.He was suspected to be involved in Burdwan blast case.
Reports said that Mohammed was arrested by the police on Saturday.”He had come from Mushidabad in West Bengal”,said Pakur SP Anup Birtheray. “Sheikh is an active member of the ‘sura’ (political committee) of the banned Jamat-ul-Mujahideen based in Bangladesh.”
Mohammed is going to be interrogated by a CID team of West Bengal.
