“un-interrupted power supply’ and ‘Make in India’ are included in the top agenda of the new Govt.The role of CIL is very important in supplying the un-interrupted electricity to the country on the basis of 24×7 mode.”
This statement was made by CMPDI’s CMD A.K. Debnath after hoisting the national flag inside the CMPDI premise on the occasion of 26th January 2015 on Monday.”CMPDI is doing its best effort for successful completion of the e-auctioning of coal blocks by Govt. of India. Now a days, we have good corporate image.”
He said that technological development of all departments are being carried out.. “New servers will be installed for ICRIS related work,so that all data related to coal block could be made available online.At ministerial level,talks pertaining to work from 2D seismic survey and 3D seismic survey are going on.CMPDI management has also decided to replace the old drills”,said Debnath.
In financial year 14-15,2.41 lakh meter drilling has been performed against the target of 3.50 lakh meter MoU drilling (departmental).”Hopefully, we will be successful in fulfilling the target.To achieve the target of future drilling requirement, 321 work-men has been employed.For strengthening of CMPDI in Geology and System departments,new executives have to be recruited.The efforts of Geomatics department of CMPDI in identification of the unauthorized house owners claiming the compensation in Basundhara – Garjanbahal area of MCL which results in substantial savings. Different subsidiaries of CIL have given similar type of work to CMPDI.Apart from these works, controlled blasting is also being done by CMPDI in coal industry”,he said.
CMPDI is preparing a standard Performa for project costing. On this basis most of the un-viable project will become viable project. This has been approved by the CIL Board. Presently standard performa of E&M & Environment related work have been prepared and of CHP related work is being prepared.
On this occasion, Debnath awarded the prize of dedicated service of 31 years to i BK Shukla.For discipline and conduct of prade to Ram Chandra Mahto and dedicated service to Sanjiv Kumar.
