CM to talk to farmers by holding Kisan Samvad once every six month

JharkhandCMRaghubarDasJharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has decided to communicate and hold talks with farmers every six months under the caption- Kisan Samvad.

Toward the same end,the CM participated in Kisan Samvad organised by the state agriculture,animal husbandry and cooperative department in Ranchi on Tuesday.

Addressing the farmers he said that the state government is going to act against the land mafia who had encroached the government land.He said that the land disputes connected with mutation issues will be resolved within three months by carrying a campaign in the form of holding camps at the Circle level.

“For this campaign,a calendar will be made”,said the CM.He pointed out that a camp will also be launched to make all farmers get benefited from Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme”,said the CM while presiding over the meeting with farmers.

The CM informed that a committee headed by Chief Secretary has been set up to reduce the rate of land lease falling under Khasmahal.”Ring up 181 phone to complain against the Mukhjiya who did not hold meeting of the Gram Sabha every month”,said the CM.

Talking about the schemes being implemented by the state government for the development of agriculture,education,health,road and so on,the CM said that the Panchayat Secretariat will be set up in all Panchayats by August 15.

“This will help villagers get certificates at their door step.Also the Panchayat Secretariat will identify genuine aspirants of Indira Awas,Agriculture products and so on”,said the CM.

During the meeting,the farmers provided information and suggestion about the land,irrigation and other issues.It was decided that at the time of providing license for setting up the brick kiln,one condition that leveling of land will be made after it was used and bricks made will be added.

At the Panchayat level,a plan to set up an agriculture school will be considered.”This can especially benefit women farmers”,said a farmer.

Following a complaint lodged by a farmer that the market price was not offered at the weekly village market,there appeared to be a consensus among participants to set up a complaint centre at every village market.

The meeting was attended among others by Agriculture Minister Randhir Kumar Singh,Revenue Minister Amar Kumar Bauri, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma and Principal Secretary,Forest and Water Resources Sukhdeo Singh,Secretary,Agriculture Nitin Madan Kulkarni and Secretary,Revenue,KK Soan.
