On the occasion of the 67th I-day,Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today visited the Ranchi based Cheshire home and spent time with its inmates there.
The home aims towards all- round development of these hapless children. “It not only provides the bare necessities but also helps to gain confidence to face the challenges of life through education and training. We look forward to new activities for the inmates and your help will be greatly appreciated in bringing it”,says its portal.
Soren said that he had visited the Home even when he was not the Chief Minister.”Seeing the spirit of its inmates,gives me strength”,said Soren.
A press release issued by public relations department in Hindi gave the following details of his visit.
कमजोर वो है जो इनको कमजोर समझते हैं। हमारी तो ताकत हैं हम इन्हें भगवान समझते हैं। इस उदगार के साथ आज झारखण्ड के मुख्यमंत्री आज चेषायर होम के बच्चों के साथ स्वतंत्रता दिवस की खुषियां बांटने पहुँचे।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सामाजिक मूल्यों में आ रही गिरावट चिंता का विषय है। केवल कहने से नहीं इस दर्द को महसूस करते हुए मूल्यों की रक्षा हमें अपने कार्यों से करनी होगी। हमें कर्मवीर बनना है।
श्री हेमन्त सोरेन ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री बनने के पहले भी मैं यहाँ आता रहा हूँ। अपनी न्यूनता के बावजूद इनमें आगे बढ़ने का जो जज्बा है वो मुझे हमेषा प्रेरणा देती है। यहां आकर मैं अपने काम और लक्ष्य के प्रति दृढ़ हो जाता हूँ।
स्वतंत्रता केवल गिने-चुने लोगों के लिए नहीं गोया समाज के सभी वर्ग के लिए है उनके लिए खास है जो अपनी न्यूनताओं पर विजय पाने की कोषिष के साथ आगे बढ़ने को —तसंकल्प हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने बच्चों के बीच मिठार्इ और फल का वितरण किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने बच्चों को अपनी तरफ से आज स्वतंत्रता दिवस का रात्रि भोज कराने की घोषणा की। खुषियों से भरे और उत्साह से लबरेज बच्चों की दुआओं का ही असर है कि मैं आज इस पद पर हूँ।
इस अवसर पर जिला प्रषासन के साथ चेषायर होम के कर्मी अधिकारी भी उपसिथत थे।
