Jharkhand today celebrated Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s 119th birth anniversary with a bang.

In several localities,the residents of Ranchi garlanded his statue.Even Chief Minister Raghubar Das paid tribute to him at Netaji park in Ranchi on Friday.

Born on Jauary 23,1897,in Cuttuck,Subhash Chandra Bose worked as the leader of the Bengal Congress and eventually the Indian Natinal Congress,calling for industrialisation and the end to British rule over the country.His politics came in conflict with the ideas offered by Mahatama Gandhi and Bose later alied himself with Japan to create the Indian National Army.Bose died on August 18,1945,in Taiwan.
