Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that the displaced persons must be paid compensation in accordance with the law soon after their land was acquired by the state government.
“The state administration must also ensure that the fund related with the compensation is deposited in the account of the displaced people as soon as possible.And there is no case of fraud”,said Das.
As it is,many villagers have parted with their land for construction of Knowledge City at Khunti.Many cases of fraud were detected in connection with the payment of compensation in this case.Taking these cases seriously,the CM called the Secretary of Revenue and Land Reforms,KK Soan and sought details about these cases of fraud.
Das directed the Deputy Commssioner and SP of Khunti district to enquire into these cases,submit report and file FIR against those persons who were found to be responsible for the fraud.
