CM meets Jamshedpur based Special Athlete Gurvir Kaur,praises her

DSC_1355Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today observed that specially abled children,who faced challenging situation in their life,are not concerned about sympathy of the people.

“They must make their own way.Toward this end,their family and the society need to boost up their morale”,said Das.

Das was interacting with Gurvir Kaur inside his office at Project Bhawan in Ranchi.Kaur together with Md Saquib, Anurag Chakraborty, Nurul Hassan, Mamun Rashid, Md Shaban and Tejender Singh had won medals at Special Atheletics in Los Angeles in August this year.

Das also congratulated Kaur’s mother and father for helping her to excel in education and sports.Kaur who had won one Gold and Bronze medal,studies at Special school at Telco,Jamshedpur.She aims to make Jharkhand and India proud in games played by special children.

In fact,while shuttler Gurvir Kaur (Asha Kiran) won gold in singles and doubles categories, besides picking up a bronze in mixed doubles, Mamun Rashid (School of Hope) raced won gold in 400m and bronze in 4×400 m relay.
