Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das,who visited Gumla today,said that his government is committed to create and turn Jharkhand into a ‘literate state.’
‘In the field of education,the large scale use of modern technology was needed”,he said.
Das,who was addressing a programme attended by hundreds of syudents of different government run schools under School Chale Chalaye Abhiyan in Gumla, said that in the coming three months Tablets will be handed over to all students of Kasturba Gandhi school.
The CM louded the work of Kasturba Gandhi School’s Birasmuni Kumari who had rejected her family’s plan to marry her and continued to pursue education.Das announced to award her by giving her Rs one lakh from the CM Relief Fund and make the state government meet expenditure on her study and marriage as well.
