While inaugurating the 220/132 KV Grid Sub Station and 220 KV Dumka-Rupnarain Grid Sub Station system in Santhal Pargana today,Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that these power units will help spread the process of development in Santhal Pargana.
“The people want development.To bring it,they had voted for us”,he said.
As many as six districts of Sathal Pargana including-Dumka,Pakur,Sahebgunj and Deoghar-will get 180 MW power supply.After 180 MW power Grid Sub Station starts functioning from September 15,the people will get the supply of power without any trouble.
“Madhupur Grid Sub Station is slated to start functioning from August 15.In this way,we will be able to deal with power supply in this region.By 2019,2400 MW and by 2022,4000 MW power production will start”,he said adding that during the past 14 years no effort was made to develop power production.
The power production from National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC) and Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Ltd will strenthened.’Apart from increasing power prodduction,my government will supply power”,he said.
