CM honours 31 Mukhiyas,54 Panchayat representatives

DSC_7365Meeting his promise made in public,Jharkhand Chief Minister on Friday honoured 31 Mukhiyas and 54 representatives of Panchayats who were elected unopposed in Panchayat elections this year.

Earlier,after the Panchayat elections,the CM had promised that those candidates who will get elected unopposed,will be honoured by the state government.”Today,we are doing just that”,said the CM inside the Project Bhawan in Ranchi.

Speaking on the occasion,he opined that the change has to be introduced in the system and in the thinking process.He informed that village secretariat(Gramin Sachiwalaya)is being constructed.

“By 2016-17,every Panchayat will have a Panchayat Bhawan and in 2017-18,all Panchayat Bhawans will be connected with Internet”,promised the CM.
