Foundation Stone of the upcoming Jharkhand State Bar Council’s Lawyers Academy in Ranchi for continuing legal education was laid by Chief Justice of India T.S. Thakur today in the function organized by Bar Council of Jharkhand in the conference hall of the Jharkhand Judicial Academy
The function was in the form of a national seminar organised by the Bar Council of India on ‘Legal Education For Lawyers And It’s Benefits”.It was held inside the conference hall of the Jharkhand Judicial Academy.
The seminar was participated among others by Justice A.R.Dave,Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri,Justice R Banumathi,Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Virendra Singh,Jharkhand High Court judges and lawyers.
Subsequently,the Chief Justice Thakur laid the foundation stone of the Jharkhand Legal Services Authority(JHALSA)’s new building inside the Jharkhand High Court premise and took part in the conclave organised by JHALSA inside its ‘Nayay Sadan’.
The Chief Justice Thakur,who arrived in Ranchi on Friday to participate in the dinner hosted by the Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the Hotel BNR Chankaya and stay inside the Raj Bhawan together with Justice A.R.Dave,Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri,Justice R Banumathi,is slated to visit Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar on Sunday to offer prayer there.
