A triangular approach was adopted for development in Jharkhand.
Toward the same aim in mind,Jharkhand government,Coal India Ltd and Railways signed a pact-MoU- today.These three parties plan to implement railway projects for development in the coal areas of Jharkhand.
The projects are planned to be taken up under the term-Special Purpose Vehicle.The SUV would be mainly for constructing additional lines and sidings for evacuating coal from the areas of coal mines in Jharkhand.
The SUV was signed by representatives of these three parties in presence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das,Union Minister of State for Power,Coal and New and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal,Union MNinister of Social Justice and Empowerment Sudarshan Bhagat,Union Minister of State(Finance)Jayant Sinha and Union Railway Minister Prabhakar Prabhu inside the hotel BNR-Chanakya,Ranchi.
Later,Prabhu inaugurated the Railway’s Astro Turf stadium at Hatia,Ranchi.
