Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today gave orders to open a Government Engineering College in Palamu. He also directed the Palamu DC to mark the land for setting up the College.
The Chief Minister said that bright students of the State have to go out to do the engineering course. Some of them are not in a position to bear the cost of studies in distant colleges of the country as a result they remain deprived of the opportunity to fulfill their dream of becoming an engineer, added Das.
He said the state government is committed to provide adequate facilities and opportunity to the younger generation in pursuing their education and this move is a step in that direction.
