Ahead of the 14th Finance Commission,Jharkhand will get over Rs 5620 crore.For the Centrally sponsored schemes,if the state government pays Rs 1729 crore,it will get benefit of Rs 3890 crore and the funding of MNREGA will continue.
A decision toward this end was taken in the concluding meeting of the Niti Aayog held in new Delhi today.
After conclusion of the meeting Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that many suggestions made by his government at the Niti Aayog’s meeting at Bhopal earlier were accepted by it.He expressed thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same. .
