Centre for developing skill of school drop outs coming in Ranchi soon

Here is a good news for the school drop outs.For them,a residential centre is going to be opened to train them and make them become skilled workers.

Two training centres are planned to be set up by the Planning Commission’s body -Construction Industries Development Council- and the state government’s Department of industry(DI) in Ranchi.

Already two such centres were functioning,one each in Gumla and Jamshedpur.

The underlying aim was two fold.One,prevent these drop outs take to crime.Two,provide them a platform and train them become skilled workers such as carpenter,electrician,plumber and mason.

Each centre will provide food and lodge,apart from a course of three month training,free of cost,to selected candidates.“This centre will help create skilled work force needed in construction sector”,said DI Secretary AP Singh.
