In a meeting held inside the state rural development department in Ranchi today,it was decided to construct the toilet in rural areas on ‘saturation mode.’
The meeting attended among others by Commissioner(MNREGA)Rahul Purwar and Deputy Commissioners of 14 districts and presided over by Principal Secretary(Rural Development)NN Sinha took the following decisions;
1.Construct toilets in rural areas on ‘saturation mode’.This can accelerating the sanitation coverage in the rural areas so as to comprehensively cover the rural community through saturation approach to create clean village Panchayats.
2.District should pay attention to convergence plan.
3,IN CFT Block,SHG members should be made ‘Met’ members.
4.In every CFT Panchayat,there will be one Barefoot Engineer.
5.All schemes should be sanctioned by March 31.
6.Set up a Nursery at the district-block level and complete roadside plantation.
7.The thickness of the plant selected for plantation should be atleast a thumb’s size.
8.Set up review committee for the CFT at the district/block level.
