BSNL reduces roaming tariff by 40 per cent

BSNL-282x300Telecom operator BSNL today reduced roaming tariff by up to 40 per cent for its prepaid and postpaid mobile connection from May 1.

This decision had been taken following telecom tariff order issued by TRAI, the company said in a statement.

Roaming tariff for incoming calls has been cut by 40 per cent, STD by 23 per cent and 20 per cent for local calls.

Local and national SMS tariff has also been reduced by 75 per cent, the statement said.
