Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba said that the state govt. is committed to provide security to its officers and employees and boost up their moral.
Toward this end,he directed the DCs, SSPs & SPs of all districts to ensure zero impudence against Govt. officers & employees in disposing Govt. work. He said that it has been reported that some individuals have been interfering with the Govt. work & threatening the officers.
“It mustn’t be tolerated”,he observed and directed them to take such issues seriously & strong & immediate legal action should be taken against the mischievous elements so that such activities don’t occur in future.
He said that misbehavior with the Govt. officers & employees affect their moral adversely & decreases their efficiency & capability of taking strong decisions.
He directed the DCs & SPs to review police security of such persons who misbehave with the Govt. officers & employees & are availing it & told them to withdraw the police security of such persons( who misbehave with the Govt. officers & employees). He also said to review the necessity & relevance of their arms & ammunitions and cancel their license if required.
He said that the Govt. has seriously taken cognizance of such serious matters & the given directions should be firmly implemented.
