bjpA ruling party legislator today demanded a vigilance probe into the finalisation of tender for the construction of seven primary health centres in Palamu region of Jharkhand.

Bhartiya Janata Party legislator Satyendra Tiwari said that tenders were floated for the construction of seven primary health centres (PHCs), and the construction work was handed over to a particular person though only one tender was filed.

He reportedly said that as per the law, a tender should be floated again in case only one tender is submitted.

“We will raise the issue with Chief Minister Raghubar Das and demand a vigilance probe. If the state government fails to order a vigilance inquiry, I will file a public interest litigation in court,” added Tiwari.
