BJP leader’s chopper fail to land as landing site not found by pilot

With the chopper pilot not finding the place to land Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was compelled to call off his election meeting in West Singhbhum district’s Badajamda township today.

Singh was scheduled to addresses an election meeting at Badajamda’s Bagbera area near Jamshedpur.To do so he boarded the chopper hired by the party and its pilot took off from Majhgaon in West Singhbhum district.Though they were to land at Bagbera where Singh was to address the election rally, the pilot failed to locate the landing site.

As a result, Singh could not address the meeting. In fact, BJP’s West Singhbhum District President Sanju Pandey claimed that the party had informed the district administration about Singh’s proposed venue and election meeting,”The district administration did not build the landing site for the chopper at Bagbera”, said a senior BJP leader.
