Ahead of the fifth and final phase of Assembly election,members of two parties-JMM and BJP-clashed in Dumka today.
While JMM leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited hospital in Dumka where his party worker Prakash Tuddu
who was injured in the clash,BJP accused the JMM of “intimidation and undemocratic tactics” against its candidates and their relatives in Dumka and Barhait Assembly seats.
BJP’s state unit president Ravindra Rai said:””JMM activists are intimidating BJP candidates and workers in Dumka and Barhait. We will move the Election Commission against the actions.”
Also BJP leader and former CM Arjun Munda said “the people sitting in constitutional posts were indulging violence and they were misbehaving with BJP workers and candidates.”
Incidentally,Soren is contesting in both Dumka and Barhait seats.
