download__4_Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today inaugurated a part of new Dharmshala(Guest House) under constrruction at Basukinath in Dumka district.

In fact,Basukinath,an ancient site of pilgrimage for Hindus,carries Basukinath Temple.It is said that it is the court of Bhagwan Shiv and is known as Basukinath Dham.Both Bhagwan Shiva and Parvati temples are hust in-front of each other.

During the month of Shravan(July-August),thousands of devotees visit Basukinath to offer prayer and puja.To provide a fine lodging facility,a new Dharmshala-Tata Nagar Basukinath Mandali Dharmwala-with a premise called Basuki Vatika-is coming up.This Basuki Vatika was inaugurated by the CM.

On the occasion,Das,apart from offering puja,addressed a gethering saying that development is collective responsibility.”With a sense of selflessness,every body should come forward.Whether for or against the government,every body should concentrate on development”,said Das.

Das announced that four religious sites-Baidnathdham,Basukinath,Maluti and Tarapith(in West Bengal) will soon be linked in one tourist circuit.
