
As the Bharatiya Janata Party concluded its ‘Samagam’ meeting at Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi today, it was learnt that ex Chief Minister Arjun Munda is likely to be appointed as party’s senior office bearer at the national level.
Munda greeted Shah this morning when the latter arrived at the dias to address the party’s Samagam function at Morahabadi Maidan.Munda also addressed top party members inside the party’s headquarter office in Ranchi.
Though Shah did not announce that Munda will be inducted in the party’s national executive,www.indiancitynews.com learnt that the BJP president is set to appoint Munda,who is a popular tribal leader,as party’s General Secretary.
“Shah is certain to make use of Munda and appoint him as BJP’s General Secretary”,India TV has quoted its source as saying.
