Ex Bihar’s DGP Anand Shankar is going to to be Jharkhand Governor’s advisor.
Shankar will replace K.Vijay Kumar,former DGP CRPF,who was appointed as Advisor of Union Home Ministry responsible for Maoist management and operations across the country.
Kumar was appointed as Advisor to Jharkhand Governor after the President’s Rule was clamped in this state on January 18.
Shankar is a 1973 batch IPS officer.He was Bihar police chief from August 2009 to February 2010.
