The police have recovered a body of an American citizen.
His body identified by the police as that of Paul M.Marshall,was found inside the room number 209 of the Hotel Raddison Blu.
Marshall,a resident of US’ city of St Louis,who was linked with an NGO in Jharkhand,had landed in Ranchi on July 9.After his arrival he reportedly stayed with the NGO’s office bearers and activists at Samlong village near Ranchi.
Records accessed by Morning India show, Marshall was slated to leave for the US on July 18(today). “After eating food at Samlong, he felt uneasy and complained about it. On his request,we brought him to Hotel Raddison on Wednesday”, said James Dungdung,an activist.
“After leaving him in the hotel,we left for Samlong”,said James Dungdung,another activist.
After his body was recovered from the hotel room on Thursday,it was sent for post mortem.Though the autopsy report was awaited,City Dy SP PN Singh said:”Prima facie it appears that he death was not due to any conspiracy.”
