Hundreds of people visited Expo Utsav 2013 at Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi on Sunday.
Though some of them were seen doing window shopping,others crowded the stall,buying equipments of their choice.These included wrist watches,sun glasses,cameras,furnitures,water filters and so on.
Expo Utsav 2013,essentially an annual consumer fair,was organised by Junior Chamber International,a body of young and active citizens in the age group of 18-40,who share the belief in collective action to bring about positive change in society.
Most of them were young entrepreneurs.In the ongoing fair,220 stalls were put up by famous dealers of top brands such as Sony,Hundai and Maruti Suzuki.The point of attraction was an Electronic Rikshaw that was exhibited at the Expo Utsav 2013.This rickshaw runs on chargeable battery.It costs Rs 1.25 lakh.”We have received a number of querries and bookings”,said its promoter.

To entertain the audience,the JCI had put up a separate stage where Fashion show and Healthy Baby show were organised on Saturday.On Sunday,painting competition was organised.The school students of KG upto Class XII participated in it.
