During his interaction with the people under the banner of the state government’s Janata Darbar held at the CM Secretariat in Ranchi today,Jharkhand Urban Development Minister CP Singh observed that efforts must be made at all levels to make the right to service benefit maximum number of people.
“Even the people will have to be aware of the services provided to them by the state government so that the impact of the reform can be visible in the work culture”,said Singh while hearing the complaints of the people in the ‘Janata Darbar.’
In all,84 people apprised the Minister of their complaints.Singh told the concerned officers that they must work impartially.”The people want the work done.The government is working for both rural and urban development,”observed Singh
“Toward the same end,the urban bodies were given special package so that the urban people can get clean and beautiful Ranchi.In the coming months,the work related with beautification of main roads and construction of flyover will start.It is in the priority of the state government to provide modern infrastructure to the people of the city”,said the Minister.
Among the complaints filed by the people,most complaints were rooted either in land dispute or sale and purchage of land.In addition,complaints connected with construction of road,drains,financial assistance,construction of art and culture buildings and beautification,rehabilitation,payment of pension,debt clearance,electric pole-street light and scholarship were also raised during the Janata Darbar.
The CM secretariat’s Additional Secretary Manohar Marandi was present in the Janata Darbar.
