The first group of pilgrims from Ranchi,who are going for Haj under the State Haj Committee, has been given a send-off in a formal ceremony organised under the Forum in Ranchi on Friday.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das visited the Haj House and presided over the ceremony.Subsequently,he dispatched them.
In all,in the first batch 266 Haj pilgrims were leaving for the Haj pilgrimage from Ranchi.
