As many as 20 women will take part in the Great Indian Women’s Desert Safari starting from February 19 at Koteshwar near Bhuj in Gujarat which is scheduled to conclude on March 15.
Fourteen members of the team would be selected by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation while six would be from the BSF, team leader Bachendri Pal said at a press conference in Jamshedpur today.
A special training program for team members has been organized by the TSAF and the BSF at Bhuj.
Pal said that the BSF had approached the TSAF for the programme to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the force.
